Cruising NSW and QLD in 2010 and 2011
Cruising the NSW Coast and the Queensland Cost in 2010 and 2011. We started out 2010 cruising up the Queensland Coast as far as Bowen, after some time headed South again to various places including the Keppels and Emu Beach, where the sculpture of the "Singing Ship" is. We traversed the "Narrows" from Gladstone and spent some time at Yellow Patch, which is around the corner from the northern exit of the Narrows. Pancake Creek was another stop where we saw the Bustard Head Lighthouse and the LARCs operating from the Town of Seventeen Seventy. Heading south to Brisbane we decided to keep going south into NSW and the towns of Laurieton, Iluka and Yamba and onto Sydney Harbour (eventually) where we experienced the wonder of New Years Eve and the fireworks from the vantage point of Quinco with friends on board.
